Golf League
Mondays, 6/25, 7/9 and 7/16 with the League Play Off on 7/23/12 will constitute the 2012 Golf League. This highly popular segment of our Tech Valley Youth Golf Program brings excitement for our maturing golf students. They get a chance to demonstrate their newly achieved golf skills and strategies.
This is always a fun time for them.
New this year, our Graduate ID, which allows for free greens fees at our 7 member golf courses, can be achieved by completing the golf league!
Tech Valley Youth Golf Inter-County Competition
July 30, 2012 The 4th Annual TVYG Inter-County Competition pits the best players from 19 counties against each other for prizes and bragging rights as the best in their female and male divisions in the entire Tech Valley! Make sure you are there!

The 10th Annual Legs Diamond Golf Tournament
Each year in addition to the wonderful experience at Thunderhart Golf Club, we enhace the event. Last year we had a hole-in-one contest for a car from
Lacy Ford in Catskill. This year in addition to the car contest, we will have a hole-in-one for a cash prize. There are also trips, golf equipment and apparel as well as local rounds of golf. Everyone gets a prize. The Golf Gala to benefit Tech Valley Youth Golf
Saratoga National Golf Club - Wednesday, August 22nd, 2012 is the setting and the date for this most worthwhile causes: the future of our youth.
Our youth enter our program with no knowledge or experience in the character-building game of golf. As they progress, they mature, gain skill,
knowledge and focus that carries them through their teenage years. The social interaction, sense of fair play, honesty and respect give them the credentials to succeed in college and in life—- and they attain a skill they can enjoy the rest of their lives!
Come join us for an exciting night with exquisite dining, exciting dancing and a chance to win the bid for the best prizes around.
Youth Golf Lessons
Golf lessons will begin in June, 2012 They will be followed by within-County competition and inter-County competitions in July. Youth ages 7 to 17 are eligible for golf lessons. Participants from previous years may also take lessons again. The lessons offered in Greene County are held on the actual golf courses, including Blackhead Mtn. Lodge & Country Club in Round Top, Christman’s Windham House in Windham, Rainbow Golf Club in Greenville, Rip Van Winkle Country Club in Palenville, Thunderhart Golf Club in Freehold and Windham Country Club in Windham. The lessons are for a total of 6 hours, usually 1 1/2 to 3 hours at a time.
To date we have trained over 8,000 youth. We also offer golf club sets at seriously reduced rates.

Rip Van Winkle Golf Trail, Junior Trail and Signature Hole Challenge
The 2012 Rip Van Winkle JUNIOR Trail is now in its third year with eleven participants already signed up. With seven member golf courses participating in the JUNIOR Trail, there is plenty of variety to experience from mountain courses, valley courses, island hole courses and USGA Championship courses to relaxing courses. The JUNIOR Trail gives the young golfer a chance to work out all the golf clubs in his or her bag!
Both will run from April 1 to October 15th, 2012.
